Through a mix of presentations, discussion and knowledge sharing, creative business leaders, freelancers and stakeholders from education, and the public sector are invited to review the existing research, share their knowledge of the regional context and work together to help develop options for future growth of the creative sector in North East Scotland.

Be first to learn the findings of new research into the creative industries in North East Scotland and help shape the vision for the region’s screen sector.

Key Topics:

  • What does the evidence from our recent mapping tell us about the scale and significance of the region's creative industries?

  • What will be the impact of changes in technologies (including AI) on your creative practice and business?

  • What new skills will you need to keep up with new technologies (including AI and virtual production)?

  • How can we build stronger collaborations between creatives, investors and policy makers?

  • What is the vision for the creative sector in North East Scotland?

  • What options are there for actionable strategies that can transform the perception and performance of the region’s creative industries?
