This hybrid workshop is organised in partnership with Screen North East and Aberdeen City Council. It focuses on understanding the opportunities and challenges faced by individuals and businesses looking to develop their work in film, television, video and other screen media in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire. Through a mix of presentations, discussion and knowledge sharing, creative business leaders, freelancers and stakeholders from education, and the public sector are invited to review the existing research, share their knowledge of the regional context and work together to help develop options for future growth of the screen sector in North East Scotland..

About the workshop
The workshop will run for 90 minutes. It will be ‘hybrid’ in format to give as many people as possible chance to participate. Sessions will be recorded for note taking purposes but your contribution will be confidential (“Chatham House” rules apply.)

Train: Aberdeen is the nearest railway station, approximately an 11-minute walk from Woodside.
Bus: Stagecoach North Scotland operates buses from Seamount Road to Society Lane every 15 minutes, with a journey time of approximately 12 minutes. Key bus routes: 17, 18, 18A, 727, E11, 17K, N17, 17A, 18S, 172, X20, 23, 220, 19, 64, X63, X67, X68, 1B, X60, 61, 62, and 64A. Nearest bus stops are:
